Welcome To Limestone Primary Care Physicians

Thank you for choosing us to serve your family's healthcare needs. Our practice consists of three board-certified Physicians, a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Physician Assistant. We are conveniently located in Buffalo, NY in the village of Williamsville. As primary care doctors, we offer comprehensive health care to patients of all ages.

Flu shots

Flu shots are now available in our office.  The influenza vaccine is recommended for all patients 6 months of age and older.  Patients may receive their vaccine at their next scheduled office visit or by scheduling an appointment.

Fall Saturday Hours

During the Fall/Winter the office will be open on Saturday mornings from 8:00 - 12:00.  If you need to be seen on Saturday, call our office at 632-1400.  It is important that you choose "option 2" to speak with a physician and leave a message.  The on-call physician will return your call with an appointment time.

Nutritional Counseling

Nutritional counseling is now available with our Registered Dietician/Physician Assistant, Amanda Bliss to any patient interested in eating healthier, losing weight, or for dietary management of chronic diseases such as diabetes.  Sessions are 45 minutes and are covered by most insurances.

Urgent Care Centers

The Providers at Limestone Primary Care feel that Urgent Care Centers provide a service for our patients as an alternative to utilizing an emergency room.

On the other hand, we would like to discourage our patients from utilizing these centers when we can offer extended care hours or medical advice for our patients during the day or on weekends. We have extended our hours to start earlier in the morning and provide later evening hours. We are also open Saturday mornings. We are able to accommodate same day appointments for our patients and the “on call physicians” are able to provide after hour advice for urgent situations.

We feel that as your Primary Physicians, we can offer more comprehensive and knowledgeable treatment for our patients due to the fact that we have access to your complete medical record.

EMR News

The Physicians of Limestone Primary Care have implemented the use of an EMR (electronic medical record) system. This new technology will provide for better patient experience and will empower you, the patient, to take a more active role in your health care.   EMR will make our practice more efficient and will help us coordinate your care more effectively. Also through electronic prescribing, we will reduce medication errors and are automatically alerted to drug interactions.
See what Dr. Scrivani has to say about Electronic Medical Records by going here.  Select link “Limestone Primary Care Physicians” to see a video of Dr. Scrivani and link “Cutting Edge Collaboration" to read an article.

We ask for your patience while we transition to the EMR system. The end result will help streamline our process and provide the best medical care possible for our patients.

Our practice is committed to the Patient Centered Medical Home as outlined in the Buffalo News article on February 11, 2010. We have been involved in this process since 2009. Our Providers and staff have been working diligently to make this vision of patient centered care a reality. Our goal is to achieve NCQA (National Committee of Quality Assurance) certification in 2011.
